Once upon a time I was an avid photographer and my main subject was death. I was the strange creep pulled over on the side of the road next to a roadkill cat. I would kneel down and look for that perfect perspective, angle, and composition to capture her resting spot with my camera.
While outside one day I saw some students were playing with a dead crow. I told them to go wash their hands and I put the bird in a trash bag. I took it home and set up a photo shoot for it. All I needed for this shot was white butcher paper on an outside table, flashes, and my camera.
